Richard Friedman

 Richard died June 26, 2013 of a heart attack after attending a concert at Cain Park.

Richard Lawrence Friedman

Richard Lawrence Friedman, 62, was born on September 7, 1950, the son of the late Robert and Lynne Friedman. He graduated from Shaker Heights High School in 1968, after attending Cleveland Heights High School. He loved music and concerts and was a radio disc jockey while in college.

After graduating from Arizona State University in 1973, with a degree in Mass Communications, he worked in the family business, Friedman Buick, until earning a law degree from Case Western Reserve in 1981. He has been a practicing attorney in the Akron/Cleveland area ever since.

Mr. Friedman was a kind and gentle soul with a loving and generous heart. He was active in his synagogue, Beth El Congregation, where he served as Vice President.  He was an enthusiastic Browns and Indians fan and an active engaged member of Toastmasters where he served as Southern Division Governor.

He leaves behind beautiful memories to be cherished by those he loved; his wife Marsha; his children Sam, wife Lindsey, Joshua, and Sarah,husband Dovi Braun; his sisters Robyn and her husband Errol Liebowitz, and Randi Friedman; his stepchildren Suzanne and Brian Quinlan and Aaron Manassa; and grandchildren Mia and Lexi.

I saw Richard  at the Happy Together  2013  tour at Cain Park , 2 hours later  he died of a heart attack   right before the show ended, how sad...  and scarey too
