I knew Michael before we both moved to University Heights-we both lived in the Harvard-Lee area  and joined in the Diaspora move to the 'burbs. Michael was a great guy and a  good early friend. We have not had contact in many years although I know his Dad recently passed away. Nevertheless, rest in peace, Michael.

I was quite sad to hear about Michael's passing. In choir was my first opportunity to grow to know Michael, a little cocky, but mostly fun was my first impressions.

During choir tour to Denver created an image thats remained with me for years. Being president, I would tour all the guys rooms at night for head count. I'm not sure why, what would I have done anyway?

This night I spent a longer then normal time knocking on the door, besides, I listened to "go away Goldscher"

Finally, the door opens almost on its own, and there I see four guys having a spiting contest on the far wall. Even I was grossed out. Turning around, shaking my head, I left with no words.

After graduation and into our early twenties Michael and I had an apartment on the same floor. There we shared many a good moment and a few joints along the way. I learned more about Michael and his good heart as well.

Rest well my friend!

I wouldn't be surprised if Michael was our future tour guide....

So sad to hear of Michael's passing.  He was a very funny guy and I do remember being at their home

for some sort of get together a long long time ago.

Rest in peace Michael, you were far too young to leave us...prayers and thoughts to your family during their time of sorrow.
