Service Sunday October 2 at 10:30 a.m. at the Mt. Olive Cemetery 27855 Aurora Rd., Solon. Family will receive friends at the residence 28149 Belcourt, Pepper Pike after services until 6 p.m. Contributions are suggested to any animal rescue.

Steve was one of the bravest men I knew. Although he battled a myriad of health issues, he remained cheerful and as active as possible. Steve was devoted to Pam Davis and adored being a zeyde to her grandchildren. I talked to Pam a few weeks ago and asked what I send them. Pam said they were fine. Steve said " send chocolate! " so I did. The last picture I have of Steve is with the box of chocolate.
Steve was a great conversationalist. He could speak on a variety of current topics, and also told amusing anecdotes. We were hoping he and Pam would be able to visit us in Sarasota this fall.
My husband Lou and I will miss him deeply .

Wow! Two nights ago I was sitting at a B & B in Scotland and, for some reason, out of the blue, started thinking about Steve and how nice it would be to see him at the reunion next year. Then this popped up on my email today. I remember, in trying to design sets for the Choir Christmas concert, driving around with Steve looking at store window displays to generate ideas. Maybe that's where he got the bug to make a career out of it. He was a person that it was impossible not to like. I truly regret his passing.

Steve was a wonderful person with a great sense of humor. I was able to have dinner with Steve a few years ago while in Cleveland for a meeting. He still had wonderful stories to share and we laughed about the past and the present. He will be missed and my thoughts are with Pam right now. I hope the wonderful memories will get you through this
