Sending my sincere condolences to Michaels Family. He was a great friend to me in High School, and a wonderful caring Doctor to my brother. May his memory be a blessing
As a neighbor, friend, and patient, I knew Michael As always being a sweet, compassionate, and kind person. He was the hardest worker I knew, very skilled, and deserved the many achievements he earned throughout his life. He truly was a Mensch throughout his lifetime. Co dolences to his family and all who knew him. May his memory be a blessing for all of us.
Sending love and hugs to Lydia, Melissa, and their families. Mike was a good friend in school and I enjoyed being with him as an adult. He was a wonderful husband and father. He was also a talented doctor and I recommended him to a number of people. They were always impressed by his knowledge and compassion. Lydia helped keep him centered. I'm sorry to say that I lost touch with him after several moves.
The world is that much poorer for his loss.
May his name forever be as a blessing.

I was very saddened to learn of Michael's passing. We had spoken many times over the past few years and I was aware of his severe illness and his courageous battle to survive.
Michael and I were good friends since we met at Heights; we double dated to the senior prom; fond memories of that.
We also shared a bond as children of Holocaust survivors.
Michael was a special person, caring and loving husband, father and physician; the epitome of a Mensch. Loved and respected by all who knew him.
My memories of Michael are from high school, and that was a long time ago. Michale was always an uplifting guy and good to be around. From the comments I have been reading about him from others, Michale lead a good and caring life and affected positively the lives of others. My sorrow is with his family and all those who are closely affected by his loss.
Michael and I became fast friends in the first weeks in 7th Grade, and continued our friendship during all the school years, and into adulthood. He was always incurably upbeat, and had a thirst for learning about everything. Many times, Michael had questions for me about my professional field. And he would listen. That listening quality was probably part of what made him a great physician. Michael was also a great storyteller, and he had a million of them. My deepest sympathies to Lydia and the Family. May his memory be a blessing.

I remember Michael from Heights from instrumental music. Nice guy.
He was two years ahead of me at OSU College of Medicine. I knew he was a medical student but alas never had the opportunity to interact with.him.
Many years later, he cared for my mom as her GI doc. She absolutely loved him.
