RIP Loren. Too soon gone. My condolences to the family. I've known Loren since elementary school at Coventry. We played football and baseball together. Loren was a great athlete and an an all around good guy. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. May he rest in peace and may his memory continue in the hearts of the people that knew and loved him.

So sorry to hear this sad news.   We've already lost too many classmates, but this one really shocked me.....

Loren was a good guy...

I remember Loren as a great teammate and a really nice guy. He was a great all-around athlete, a real competitor, and yet so even-tempered. I recall having a long conversation with him at one of our class reunions, our 20th I think, when we talked about what we each had been doing since leaving Heights. He struck me as really interested in what I had been doing. He also told me about Howie Lieberman's untimely death in Chicago. This is all very sad and I extend my sincere condolences to his family and friends.

I had the honor and pleasure of playing basketball with Loren. You can tell a lot about the inner person when you spends hundreds of hours interacting and orserving behavior on the court. He was competent but not cocky. He knee how to take control of a situation and carry the team when needed. Yet he had the vision to see the complexity of the whole team and include all of us. I could go on about this uniqueness and talent but the real point is that Loren was always present and and focused on the task at hand and the teammates he inspired. You will be missed. I know you have touched so many and your family has suffered a great loss. I can still see you lofting up an effortless basket from way "downtown".  Even though your passing is a great loss, your presence in our lives was a blessing to  us all. Eternal peace. I'll still be waiting down low for your behind the back pass.

The passing of Loren brings me deep sadness. We were good friends at Coventry. He was one of the "good guys."  He will be missed by so many.
